Yuma, AZ first night
we took Hwy 95S at Blythe to Yuma, thinking to avoid the traffic at Phoenix. It was an interesting drive, beautiful stark mountains, great sky. There were thousands of RV's seemingly scattered across the desert.
The ground was flat, with little vegetation, so when we got away from the RV's, we pulled off the road a ways and let the puppies off-leash to run-what fun.
We stayed at the Shiloh Inn after being turned away from Day's Inn & Hawthorn Suites (BOO). Nice place but pricey & we didn't get to watch The Sopranos even tho' they had HBO. I was bummed.
