Second night, Las Cruces, NM
Bud is driving all the way, as usual. He loves to drive so it doesn't bother either of us. He drove over 600 miles today, from Yuma to Las Cruces. We did stop several times to break it up and give the poopers some grass time, plus the time to chat with the Highway Patrolman about the calf.We're in a La Quinta tonight, and it has Wireless!! So I can post from something other than my Treo. That hasn't been too bad considering that my kiddo set it up for me. I understand how to send text and I understand how to send pic's. Just not sure about the combination. I'll give is a shot tomorrow, though.
The poopers had a bit of a workout this evening, finally having a pee (I was beginning to worry, it had been hours). I hope they sleep better tonight than they did last night.
We will leave around 9 am tomorrow morning, get through El Paso at what we hope is a good time, then on to Kermit for a few days.
