Catching up on posts
I seem to have some difficulty with signals here in the Hill Country. Sometimes I can make the connection using my Treo and sometimes not. So this will start the catch-up since the last post.We made it to my mother's house in West Texas without further problems. We passed through Wink, and saw the Roy Orbison museum (he was from Wink).
The first thing was to get my Mother from my sister's house, where she is staying. Then we went to see the puppies over at my brother's house. There were only three left, all little boys. They were really cuties, but one was not feeling very good. Turned out they
had gotten the first of their vaccinations, and actually got Parvo, most likely from the shot. Two of the three died later in the week. Really sad as they were lovely little beings. The pic here shows Bud with two of them. Jack and Sophie were pretty leary of them at first, but Jack finally got comfortable enough to let them climb on him. Sophie stayed a bit shy but eventually wanted to play.
