Sunday in Central Texas

Today was a good day, warm, sunny, little wind. Flying was good, most landings were good, and on purpose as well. Ahhh. I even slipped to lose altitude, and it felt like home. I definitely was in a good mood coming home. And! Bonnie, my next door neighbor was in the air at the same time and called me on the radio! What a thrill. We watched them land later and I took a couple of good pictures of them in the air.

Yesterday, I was doing a little surfing and think I know what our kitten, Smokey is. A blue Burmese. The various images I found were similar to how she looks, then a description nailed it. "A brick wrapped in silk". Perfect description of her. They also warned that Burmese were often rulers of their household, mesmerizing their human servants with their large expressive eyes. Yup, that's our girl. This picture is of her under the blanket on our bed. She loves to zoom up the stairs, often zip over the puppies, hit the bed, and burrow under the covers.

So now it is about dinnertime, and Bud is going to cook us a nice steak and baked potato. I'll do the salad with his world famous blue cheese dressing. A feast and I am hungry! Gotta go...
