Two posts in one day, but lots has been going on.
We had several days of rain, including some good old Texas thunder-boomers. That has the wildflowers starting to come up and we have the start of a great blue bonnet field next to the house. This pic shows the puppies inspecting the flowers. We also have some Mexican Hats and a big crop of thistles going. We'll post more images as they start to really bloom. It should be a great spring show.
We have been really enjoying all the animals around, birds around our feeders, this is a woodpecker having a nosh in the front, and new longhorn calves playing. I especially liked the little white calf with the black nose. See the red and white speckled calf looking out from behind the stump?

On the way into Kerrville, there are two horses that like apples, and elk who also like apples [we try to keep apples in the car, just in case]. Bud tossed one on the ground near one of the elk here but she shied away. However, when we came back by the apple was gone. We really love it here, there is so much to enjoy just going into town.
