The Texas Hill Country is really hoppin'
We were in Kerrville a few days ago, doing a little shopping at the local HEB (my kid loves that store) and when I came out I found the Budwiser Clydesdale team in the parking lot, ready to go out on the town! They are such beautiful animals. I didn't get to pet one, the guy said not while they were in harness. When the music started, the team perked up, ready to go - they knew they were "ON". hehOn another outing, in Comfort, we saw a young donkey, frolicing by 'mom', having a great time.
Now is the time for young ones, I suppose. We keep seeing a young colt on the road to Kerrville. He is really sweet, with the small white blaze on his forhead.
